Technorama 2025: Bridging Innovation and Tradition

On April 4th and 5th, 2025, the 51st annual Technorama Dental Lab & Technology Conference, presented by the Dental Industry Association of Canada (DIAC), took place at the Delta Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Center. This highly anticipated event once again highlighted the best in dental innovation, bringing together over 1,000 participants from across Canada and beyond for two days of education, collaboration, and inspiration.

“This year’s theme, Bridging Innovation and Tradition, perfectly captures the essence of the conference,” says Laura Gilbert, Board Director of Technorama. “We are honoured to continue the tradition of bringing together professionals and experts from all corners of the dental industry, while also embracing the groundbreaking advancements that are shaping the future.”

Premier Doug Ford extended his greetings to the delegates, stating, "Good dental health is a vital part of building a strong and healthy Ontario. I’m grateful for the contributions of dentists, dental technologists, and other oral health professionals. This event provides a unique opportunity to showcase new products, engage in continuing education, and learn about the latest trends."

Attendees connected with exhibitors, shared ideas, and explored new developments in digital tools and dental equipment. The theme of Bridging Innovation and Tradition came through clearly in the interactions throughout the event.

When asked for her feedback, Denise Kusinski, President of the DIAC, shared, “Technorama stands as Canada’s largest and most anticipated gathering for dental laboratory professionals.
