Eliane Ellbogen is an Associate and Trademark Agent in the IP group at Fasken (Montréal). In this one-hour webinar on the recent amendments to Québec’s French-language requirements (commonly known as Bill 96), Ellbogen will canvas the various language requirements relating to product packaging and labelling, promotional content, and commercial documents, and the relevant regulatory exceptions which apply to product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. She will also explain the rules for contracting with the civil administration, including public healthcare institutions, and risk exposure in case of non-compliance.
The impact of Bill 96 will be felt by all businesses that sell their products or offer their services in Canada, including in Quebec. This webinar will help you prepare for and navigate these important upcoming changes, which come into force on June 1, 2025.
